Drafting the Life of an Architect

I find that we are all just a plan that is being drafted out by some higher being. A series of mistakes in design that is erased, tweaked, changed, or just added on to. Every time the design gets a little better and closer to perfection. Life is a drafting board and we are being drafted into a great work of art that will someday be standing in a row with several other small wonders. While living our mark may not be some great piece of architecture, it may be a smile. But when we leave we will know that our draft is finally complete and a stone will mark the spot where another perfect design is stored.

I eat my peas with honey;
I’ve done it all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on the knife.
